You're simply holding on, doing what is needed to survive one more day, no matter how horrible, and asking if perhaps it wouldn't have been better to die. Or am I misunderstanding how the game loads zombies in the beginning.īut you're not making a difference. So If I start messing with these xml's, will that means that the world will still have all the zombies that it loaded up in. You can change that within the spawning.xml.Īh! There we go! Yeah I'm just, I get why it is, it's kind of to keep you from getting bored and such but, I like the idea of fighting perhaps more zombies spawned into the world, but knowing that when I've killed a zombie, another one isn't going to magically take it's place for game reasons. If you want to look further without editing your files, look here and the first little bit you see is the biome spawning control. The same can be done for each biome, and horde type (night hordes, roaming hordes etc.) You can change that to 1 if you want a small break. The respawndelay="0" means that they will spawn forever without delay between the waves. You can change that within the spawning.xml. I know the game has a "Enemy Spawning" option when setting up a server, but I just wish there was a way where the total number spawned into the map, and them respawning, was seperate. I'd gladly take far more zombies in the beginning and make the game harder, if I knew that for every kill, I was making a difference. And to be clear, I'm not talking about the Night 7 horde as I love that, but the zombies that first spawn into the world. So, me and some budies were battling in a city, setting up everything and the like in our six floor appartment HQ when something occured to me: shouldn't the zombies be slowing down? I mean, I get why they do that because otherwise it be boring but, it kind of takes me out of it when no matter how many I kill, they'll always be more because "game reasons". ![]() Originally posted by Aeradom:I got a very minor quirk with the game that I'm wondering if someone can clarify for me.
